The newly elected and qualified Board of ¶ ounty Commissioners met in regular
aesaiom with all members present, to -wit: J. B`# ,nnia.J.S.Berker,E.L.Cooke,A.A.
Cameron and Geo, t. Noel.
The Clerk to the Board was asked to cell for the election of a Chairman and
this being done a canvass of the votes showed fir. J.B. Ennis elected for a�term
of one year.
The election of a Vice-Chairman being in order it was moved by Mr. Barker
and seconded by Mr. Cameron Mr. Geo. !. Noel was nominated for Vice-Chairman and
upon s vote was unanimously elected for the ensuing year.
It is ordered that Leonard Seals be relieved of the payment of poll tax for
the years 1933 and 1934 on account of physical disability.
It is ordered that ILR.Wiliiams be appointed County Attorney for the ehauing
year.
It 1s ordered that Mrs. Y.D. Jackson be appointed Superintendent of the County
Home for a period of one year.
It is ordered that J.S. Mclean be appointed C ounty Auditor and Tax Supervisor
for a period of one year.
It is ordered that H.S. Freeman be appointed Assistant Auditor for a period of
one year.
It is ordered that H.C.Striokland be appointed Solicitor of the Reeorder'e
Court for a period of one year.
It is ordered that all dealers in fire works be charged a tax of $100.00.
It 1s ordered that J.S. Barker and A.A. Cameron be appointed a Committee to
assist in the supervision of the County Home.
It is ordered that E.L.Cooke end Geo. t.Noel be appointed $ Committee to check
captured stills.
IT IS ORDERED that former order of this Board appointing Mrs. F.D. Jackson
as Superintendent of the County Home be rescinded pending further investigation.
