RESOLUTION: WHEREAS certain citizens of this County have requested the Board of "ommissioners to refuse to levy a special tax in Special Tax -Yistricts where said `special Tag ha b een voted lawfully by the voters of said districts and hereby in effect abolish- ing temporarily the special tax districts. Now, Therefore, be it resolved that this Board of gommissioners go on record that it recognizes that this Board of Commissioners has no power to refuse to levy said special tax as this tax was voted by the voters of said. districts. IT WAS RESOLVED that the County of Harnett be held responsible for the payment of teachers salaries for extended term only to the extent of the taxes levied for that year by said districts and collected by the County of Harnett and no further. RESOLUTION: Be it resolved that whenever any tax payer has made or makes a partial payment on 1931 taxes that the penalty shall cease immediately as to the partial *payment so made ant the unpaid balance of taxes shall be charged with usual penalties. Be it further resolved thar the. Auditor release the Tax ''olleetor from charging any penalties on partial payments from the day said partial payments are made it being the intention of this resolution that legal penalties shall be charged on partial payments up to the day said partial payments are made. The above instrudetion was instroduced by IJr. Ennis and seconded by Mr. OTQuinn. All members voting in favor of its passage. It was ordered that report of J.O.
