Strickland, and Clerk Inez Harrington, Report of Inez Harrington, Register of Deeds, was read,aecepted and ordered filed. Report of Howard Godwin, Clerk of Superior Court, was read, approved and ordered filed. Report of Lola OtQuinn, Delinquent Tax Collector, was read and approved. It is ordered that beer license be granted to John Lockerman of Erwin, N.C. at John's Place, in South Erwin. It is ordered that beer license be granted to Bruce Jackson Howard of Manchester, at Howard'sPlace, on Lillington -Fort Bragg Road. It is ordered that beer license be granted to 7Villiam Raymond Moss of Bunnlevel, RECD 1, at Moss' Service Station, in Anderson Creek Township'. ` It is ordered that C.R.Butler, Dunn,N.C., be released $13.14 penalty for late listing of taxes in Averasboro Township. It is duly RESOLVED, that the tax valuation of 178 acres of Walter Lee Johnson, in Anderson Creek Township, formerly McLean lands, being 198 acres, less 20 acres'conveyed in 1937, be reduced for the years 1938 and 1939'and 1940 from the listed value of $1985.00, to the sumo of $1535.00, the valuation shown upon the 1937 Revaluation Book, and that proper release be issued by the proper authority releasing said land Of said $450.00, for said years 1938 and 1939 and 1940; said valuation having been made through error in listing for said years.
