The Board of Commissioners met in a call session on Thursday, Feb. 16, 1950 at
3:00 P M -with all members present. Also present was the County Attorney, the
Auditor and the Clerk to the Board.
Honorable Geo. S. Coble, State Hiv.way Chairman and other members of the State
Highway Commission were present and discussed the roadpproblems in Harnett County.
L. C.- Dupree,Jr., Tunn,N.C. appeared before the Board with an offer
the Countys interest In that certain lot on Broad Street in the town of
formerly owned by John McNeill acquired by Harnett County in a taxforec
recorded in Book 247, page 278, Register of Deeds C'ffice. Upon motion
Gregory, Seconded by Commissioner Fields the Board offered to sell its
7L. C. Dupree, Jr for the total sum of all taxes, penalties and cost aga
property. The Chairman of the Board is hereby directed to execute deed

Dunn, N. 9. be employed by Harnett County to audit the office of the Clerk of
Superior Court for the sum of $350. flat rate. This work to be completed by Feb.
28th. Motion carried.
