WHEREAS, death has entered the ranks of the Officials of Harnett C na m y in the pass-
ing of Mr William Dalrymple Harrington, Tax Collector;
AND WTIEREAS, during the years Mr. Harrington served as Tax Collector he was a faith-
ful and conscientious public official, discharging the duties of his offices in the man-
ner acceptable to his fellow citizens of the County:
AND 'WHEREAS, the death of Mr Harrington a distinct loss to all the people of
Harnett County and to his family;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Caznty Commissioners in regular meet-
ing assembled February 7th, 1949 that the County has suffered a distince lost in the
death of Mr. Harrington, who was ever a faithful servant to people of his day and gener-
ation; and the family of Mr Harrington has suffered great bereavement in his death.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, thatthis resolution be spread from upon the minutes of the
Board of Commissioners a copy given to the press, and a copy sent to the deceased
family.
Unanimously adopted by the Board of County Commissioners this 7th day.of February
1949. °.

the County Attorney and the Auditor.
