Also present were H.C.Strickland and Inez Harrington,Clerk to the Board. The Board approved the Petition for road presented by Citizen: of U.L.R. Twp., and approved and ordered forwarded to the State Highway and Public Works commission: Beginning at a point where Ned McLeod lives on the road running from Seminole to Pisgah, and running eastwardly and norther ly by way of Mrs.Mag•- Sloan, Mrs.O.T.Cox William McLeod, M.J.McNeill's Estate, H.Thomas Cyrus MCNei11,J hn Harrington;Dock Cox, Burt Thomas' Estate, to a point near Carl,McNeill's store on H.ghway No.421, at totai'.idistance of approximately 2 miles. It is ordered that Charles J.Tart, of Averasboro Township be relieved of Poll taxes for the year 1943 and 1944 on account of his disability. The Board granted Beer license to Alease Monds or East Cumberland St.,Dunn N.C. for sale of Baer or premises. The Report of Howard Godwin,C.S.C. was approved and ordered filed.
