The Board of Commissioners met in a call session on Monday 28th. at
2:00 P. M., for the purpose of discussing the Budget for year 1962 -63
with all members present. Also present were the Auditor, the County Attorney,
and the Clerk to the Board.
John Aaron Senter appeared before the Board and the Baird approved the
tentative Budget for the Health Department as presented to them by him
for the year 1962 -63.
Supt.. G. T. Proffitt and the Board of Education appeared before the
Board and presented the tentative School Budget for year 1962 -63, which was
approved as presented far year 1962 -63.
The Board ordered that $222.60 be paid for paving around the Health
Department Building in Dunn.
C. R. Ammons, Harnett County Farm Aoent and Mrs. Ruby Parker, Home
Demonstration Agent, appeared hefore °sthe Board and presented the tentative
Budget for agricultural extension department for the year 1962 -63
The Board will meet Thursday at 1:00 P. M. with the Welfare Board.

the standard plan for salaries the next fiscal year
as explained to Mr. Senter in your letter of January 25,
1962 to him.

once.
