The Board of Commissioners met in a call session on Friday, January llth.,
at 7:00 P. M. with all members present. Also present were the County Attorney
the Auditor and the Clerk to the Board.
Commissioner Worth Lee Byrd moved, seconded
Commissioner Cameron be named as a representat
to negotiate with the Mayor of the Town Board
jointly with the town of Lillington to answer
office along with the tuwn office in the day,
Commissioners as to the findings.
Motion carried.

Mr. Otis E. Harvell, tax appraisal man, appeared before the Board and announced
that he would begin his duties in Harnett County on January 28th. and discussed
the plan fur the revaluation of the taxable properties in the county, providing
bond for $ 5000.00, which was approved by the County Attorney.
Commissioner Barefoot moved, seconded by Commissioner Cameron, that Mr.
Harvell be allowed to bring three experienced men with him to begin the work
in the county.
Motion carried. -
Commissioner Barefoot moved, seconded by Commissioner Warren, that Ken
Black be ad he is hereby appointed Dog warden for Harnett County for a
term ending December 2, 1963,
Motion carried.
