ADJOURNMENT
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special ses-
sion on Monday, August 24, 1981, at 2 p.m. in the Assembly
Room, County Office Building, Lillington, North Carolina,
as was duly advertised, for the purpose of considering the
1981 -82 Secondary Road Construction Program. The following
members were present: M. H. Brock, Lloyd G. Stewart, Bill
Shaw, Rudy Collins, and Chairman Jesse Alphin presiding.
Chairman Jesse Alphin called the meeting to order at 2 p.m.
Oscar Harris, Highway Commissioner for this District, appeared
before the Board and presented for the Board's consideration
a priority list for the proposed improvements of Secondary
Roads in Harnett County for 1981 -82.
Following a discussion of this priority list, Commissioner
Shaw made a motion that the Board adopt the following resol-
ution establishing the 1981 -82 Secondary Improvement Program
for Harnett County. Commissioner Collins seconded the motion
and it carried with a unanimous vote:
BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS IN A
SPECIAL SESSION held on August 24, 1981, do hereby approve the following
1981 -82 Secondary Road Construction Program:
1. Grade, Drain, and Soil:
A. SR 1132 from NC 210 to NC 210
B. SR 1253 from NC 27 to SR 1251
C. SR 1541 from SR 1538 to SR 1542
