01031989 (2)156 PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING INDUSTRIAL. REVENUE BOND ISSUANCE INVOLVING CHAMPION PRODUCTS, INC., JANUARY 3, 1989 The Board of Commissioners of the County of Harnett, North Carolina, met in regular session in the Commissioners' Room in the County Administration Building in Lillington, North Carolina, the regular place of meeting, at 9:00 o'clock, A.M., on January 3, 1989. The following Commissioners were: Present: chairman Lloyd G. Stewart, Bill Shaw, Mack Reid Hudson, Rudv Collins, and Mayo Smith Absent: Alone * The Chairman stated that The Harnett County Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority had adopted a resolution expressing its intention to issue revenue bonds and authorizing the execution and delivery of an inducement agreement pertaining to the financing of an industrial project for Champion Products Inca The Chairman submitted copies of the resolution and the inducement agreement to the Board. The Chairman then stated that a notice had been published on December 14, 1988 that the Board would hold a public hearing on January 3, 1989 on the proposed project and the issuance of revenue bonds to finance the project. Commissioner Collins moved that the Board proceed to hold a public hearing on the project and the issuance of revenue bonds to finance the project. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Shaw and was unanimously adopted. At 9:10 o'clock, A.M., the Chairman announced that the Board would hear anyone who wished to be heard on the advisability of the proposed project and the issuance of revenue bonds to finance the project and that a representative of the Authority was present and was prepared to discuss the details concerning the proposed project and bond issue.
