1128198887 HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING, NOVEMBER 28, 1988 The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in Special Session on November 28, 1988, at the County Office Building, Lillington, North Carolina, with the following members present: Rudy Collins, Bill Shaw, Mack Reid Hudson, Mayo Smith, and Chairman Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Others present were Dallas H. Pope, County Manager; W. Glenn Johnson, County Attorney; Vanessa W. Young, Clerk to the Board, and Kay S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary. Chairman Stewart called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. Dallas H. Pope, County Manager, explained that the purpose of this special meeting was to consider zoning change requests which were addressed at a public hearing held earlier concerning the Harnett County Zoning Ordinance. After reviewing the applications and determining compliance with the Harnett County Zoning Ordinance, the following decisions were made by the Board of Commissioners: PAULINE CHANCE 1. Pauline Chance, from Industrial to RA -20 Zoning District, Averasboro Township, SR 1811: Commissioner Smith made a motion to grant the zoning change request. Commissioner Shaw seconded the motion and it passed with a unanimous vote. DENVER DISTRI- BUTING, INC. F.K. JOHNSON 2. Denver Distributing, Inc., from RA -20 to Industrial Zoning District, Neill's Creek Township, US 421: Commissioner Collins made a motion to grant the zoning change request. Commissioner Smith seconded the motion and it passed with a unanimous vote. 3. F. K. Johnson, from RA -30 to RA -20 Zoning District, Grove Township, SR 1551: Commissioner Hudson made a motion to deny the zoning change request. Commissioner Collins seconded the motion and it passed with a unanimous vote. AIRPORT LEASE Dallas H. Pope, County Manager, requested a forty -nine day extension on lease AGREEMENT EXTEN. agreement between Harnett Aviation, Inc. and County of Harnett involving the Harnett County Airport. An extension period will be from December 1, 1988, to January 18, 1989. Commissioner Shaw made a motion to grant the extension as requested. Commissioner Smith seconded the motion and it passed with a unanimous vote.
