PUBLIC HEARING ON CABLEVISION, OCTOBER 18, 1982
CALL TO ORDER
ADJOURNMENT
Chairman Jesse Alphin called the public hearing to order concerning
the Cablevision Franchise, October 18, 1982, as was duly advertised
and explained the purpose of the public hearing.
Holt Fe.lmet, Cablevision Committee spokesman appeared before the
Board and discussed with them the two proposals for the installation
and operation of Cable Television System in }Iarnett County. The two
proposals that Harnett County received to serve the franchise areas
within the County were as follows:
Billy R. Jones of Atlanta, Georgia
Univision Cable Systems, Inc.
Chairman Alphin invited anyone present who wished to speak for or
against granting the cablevision franchise to do so at this time.
No one appeared before the Board to speak.
Chairman Jesse Alphin declared the irlic hearing closed at 8:10 p.m.
