07051982HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING, JULY 5, 1982
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session
on Monday, July 5, 1982, in Lillington, North Carolina, at the
County Office Building, at 9 a.m. with the following members
present: M. H. Brock, Bill Shaw, Rudy Collins, and Chairman
Jesse Alphin. Commissioner Lloyd G. Stewart was absent
PURPOSE OF MEETING Chairman Jesse Alphin called the meeting to order and stated
VISIT INDUSTRIAL that notice of this meeting had been duly posted. Mr. Alphin
TRAINING SITES explained that the County is considering several sites in the
County on which to locate the Industrial Training Center. The
purpose of this meeting today was to visit each of the sites to
see what potential it offers for the location of the Center. No
action was taken by the Board approving a site.
ADJOURNMENT After the Board visited each of the proposed sites, the meeting
was duly adjourned.
