PUBLIC HEARINGS CONCERNING APPLICATIONS FOR ZONING DISTRICT CHANGES & ZONING TEXT CHANGE

The Harnett County Board of Commissioners held public hearings concerning
two applications for Zoning District changes, and a Zoning Ordinance text
change on June 19, 1989, at the County Office Building, Lillington, North
Carolina, with the following members present: Rudy Collins, Bill Shaw, Mack
Reid Hudson, Mayo Smith, and Chairman Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Other
present were Dallas H. Pope, County Manager; W. Glenn Johnson, County Attor-
ney; Vanessa W. Young, Clerk to the Board; and Kay S. Blanchard, Recording
Secretary.
Chairman Stewart called the public hearings to order at 8:25 p.m.
Carla Stephens, Planning Supervisor, presented an application for Zoning
District change from Angela C. Johnson, From RA -40 Zoning District to RA -30
Zoning District, Neill's Creek Township, S.R. 1436.
Chairman Stewart asked for public comments.
COMMENTS No comments were offered.
CLOSED Chairman Stewart closed the public hearing for Angela C. Johnson.
RICHARD TART Carla Stephens, Planning Supervisor, presented an application for Zoning
District change from Richard Tart, From Industrial Zoning District to RA -20M
Zoning District, Averasboro Township, S.R. 1805.
COMMENTS Chairman Stewart asked for public comments.
No comments were offered.
CLOSED Chairman Stewart closed the public hearing for Richard Tart.
ZONING ORD. Carla Stephens, Planning Supervisor, presented a proposed Zoning Ordinance
TEXT CHANGE text change for Glenn Lucas Sign Company, Zoning Text Change for Outdoor
Advertising Signs.
