SUBJECT: METAL STORAGE BUILDING FOUNDATIONS
LOCATED AT 57 NEIGHBOR'S ROAD DUNN, N. C.
DEAR MR. STRICKLAND:
ON MARCH 1, 2010, I VISITED THE BUILDING TO EXAMINE THE BUILDING
SLAB AND FOUNDATION.
1. I PROBED THE PERIMETER CONCRETE SLAB AND FOUND THE FOOTING
DEPTH AND LOCATION TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOUNDATION
DESIGN PLANS. THE UNDERLYING SOILS WERE PROBED AND FOUND TO
BE ADEQUATE FOR THE FOUNDATION LOADING OF THIS STRUCTURE.
2. THE SLAB WAS SCANNED TO VERIFY THE LOCATION OF THE
FOUNDATION STEEL REINFORCEMENT.
SUMMARY: THE FOUNDATIONS WERE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE DESIGN PLANS.
