As a result, we are unable to properly seal the base, which creates a dangerous condition. For the safety of our customers and field representatives, we are required to suspend the delivery of electricity to any premise that is determined to be dangerous to life or property. Please have the necessary repairs or replacement completed no later than ten days from the date of this letter. If replacement is necessary, the Meter ,base purchased must have a manufacturer installedred and white "customer owned" sticker on the inside and outside of the meter base and be approved by Underwriter's Laboratories (UL) or an equivalent testing agency. For safety reasons, service will be disconnected without further notice if repairs are not made. If this is rental property, please inform the landlord of the need for action as stated in this letter. Please notify us when the work has been completed.
