At the time of our visit, building pad construction and footing excavation were complete. Using a Y: inch diameter steel probe rod, ATC probed soils at bottom of footing elevation. In addition, ATC performed hand augers and Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Testing (ASTM STP 399) at the four outer corners. ATC performed DCP testing at 1 foot intervals down to satisfactory residual soils or maximum depth of 5 feet below finish pad elevation.
