He also thanked the Board for having the study and the Board's interest and assistance for orderly development along the Hwy. 87 corridor. 12. Ingrid Chandler, Hwy. 27, asked if there are any plans to widen Hwy. 27 to Lillington. 13. David Sawyer, 390 Vic Keith Road, stated that a crossover is needed in the area where he owns land. Members present: Teddy J. Byrd, Chairman Beatrice Bailey Hill, Vice Chairman Dan B. Andrews Walt Titchener Tim McNeill Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 11 a.m. Neil Emory reported on COPS funding for schools and on requests for redistricting maps regarding proposed redefined commissioners districts. • Chairman Byrd welcomed Jerry Hartgrove, Economic Development Director and • Johnson Tilghman, Chairman, Harnett Forward Together Committee. Mr. Tilghman gave an update on progress made since the Leak -Goforth study report. Mr. Hartgrove reported on specific proposed industrial sites in the County.
