The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Tuesday, May 24, 2011,
in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administration Building, 102 East Front Street,
Lillington, North Carolina.

Chairman McNeill called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. and led the pledge and invocation.
Commissioner Andrews moved that the Board go into closed session for the purpose of
discussing certain personnel matters. This motion is made pursuant to N.C. General Statute
Section 143- 318.11(a)(6). Vice Chairman Hill seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
Vice Chairman Hill moved that the Board come out of closed session. Commissioner Burgin
seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
At 12:20 pm Commissioner Andrews moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded
by Vice Chairman Hill and passed unanimously ::
