As requested by the builder, a representative of Tyndall Engineering & Design was onsite
to visually observe and analyze the following items:
t) Determine structural adequacy of the existing (2) 2x 10 member above the front porch
in regards to supporting the anticipated loading conditions.
2) Determine structural adequacy of the existing 4x4 posts located on the front porch in
regards to supporting the anticipated loading conditions.
The following conclusions and recommendations were presented for the above-
mentioned items:
1) Based on our visual observations and analysis, the existing (2) 2x 10 member was
noted adequate as constricted to support the anticipated loading conditions.
2) Based on our visual observations and analysis, the existing 4x4 posts were noted
adequate as constructed to support the anticipated loading conditions.
