The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Wednesday, May
23, 2001 in the Harnett County Library, 106 South Main Street, Lillington, North
Carolina.
Members present: Teddy J. Byrd, Chairman
Beatrice Bailey Hill, Vice Chairman

Walt Titchener
Tim McNeill
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Vanessa W. Young, Finance Officer
Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 5 p.m. and called on County Manager Neil
Emory.
Mr. Emory reviewed items of the proposed FY 2001-2002 Harnett County Budget. The
Board discussed the proposed Budget in a work session format.
There being no further business, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners' special
meeting, May 23, 2001 duly adjourned at 7 p.m. •
