Dear Mr. Hall:
Ryan Rhoades with M & R Associates proposes to add a new footing for the garage wall 4' from the
existing footing to increase the garage dimension by 4'. The proposed footing will be 24" x 12"and
reinforced with 3 # 4's rebars. The 30" reinforcing bars will be embedded 6" into the existing
footing and epoxied. In addition the garage door will shift 2' to the right and the footing adjusted
accordingly with rebar placed as indicated above. To the best of my knowledge and belief the
footing is adequate for the proposed structure. If you have any questions, please give me a call.
