Summary of Services Performed (told test data, locations, elevations a depths are estimates) 6lndlvlduals Contacted The undersigned arrived on site, as requested, to perform Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) testing at lot#22 in the Colonial Hills Subdivison. Please refer to the attached sketch. Utilizing a Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (ASTM STP-399) to check the bearing capacity of soil at the aforementioned locations, test results indicated that soils, at the areas and elevations tested, should be capable of supporting a foundation designed for a net allowable soil bearing capacity of 2;000 psE, Please note that, loose soil conditions were encountered attest location No. 4 at depth of -3 R from existing ground surface elevation. DCP results at this location indicated 'a bearing capacity of 1500 pounds per square foot. These results will need to he evaluated by the Structural Engineer of Record to confirm if this beating capacity will suffice the intended structural design. ECS recommends oversize the intended footing at this location to reduce its contact pressure to the encountered bearing capacity or adjusting the footing bearing elevation to the soils below this layer were a bearing capacity of 2000 psf is achieved.
