For: Gourge and Shatima Yakop
Mrs. Yakop called Harnett County Environmental Health on August 20, 2009 and spoke
with Susan Stewart, requesting to cancel the septic tank inspection and to inform they had
decided not to purchase the property located at the above address. Mr. Yakop spoke with
Graham Byrd and both individuals were requesting a refund of the soil evaluation fee.
A refund is being issued due to the fact that there had been no communication from
Central Permitting to Environmental Health of the customer's desire to be called prior to
the site visit. According to the customer, Central Permitting was to handle this for them.
Under these circumstances, Mr. Byrd is granting the refund of $250.00, even though the
property had already been evaluated prior to the telephone call requesting a cancellation
of inspection.
