2011/10/17 RESOLUTION OF TENTATIVE AWARD FOR CONST OF THE ERWIN PUMP STA & FORCE MAIN FROM SWIFT TEXTILES WWTPRESOLUTION OF TENTATIVE AWARD
WHEREAS, the County of Harnett, North Carolina, through its Department of Public Utilities,
has received bids, pursuant to duly advertised notice thereof, for construction of the Erwin
Pump Station and Force Main from Swift Textiles Wastewater Treatment Plant to the North
Harnett Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, and
WHEREAS, Marziano & McGougan, PA Consulting Engineers, and the Harnett County
Department of Public Utilities have reviewed the bids; and recommend TENTATIVE AWARD to
the lowest responsible bidder(s).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that TENTATIVE AWARD is made to the lowest responsible
bidders in the Total Bid Amount of $6,202,297.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such TENTATIVE AWARD be contingent upon the approval of
the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
