AMENDMENT OF THE CAPITAL AREA METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION
(CAMPO) STP -DA BICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN/TRANSIT PROJECT GRANT — NORTHWEST
HARNETT BICYCLE & PEDESTRIAN PLAN
BE IT ORDAINED by the Harnett County Board of Commissioners of the County of Harnett,
North Carolina that the following project ordinance is hereby repealed:
Section 1. Whereas, the County of Harnett Board of Commissioners adopted a Capital
Project Ordinance on June 20, 2011 for the development of a bicycle and
pedestrian plan for North Western Harnett County, a copy of which is hereby
attached for reference; and
Section 2. Whereas, it has been determined that the matching funds for this project would
be better used for another county project; and
Section 3. Whereas, the Finance Officer has determined that funds have not been received
from the grantor agency, and an amendment of this Capital Project Ordinance and
the moving of the $6,237.50 matching funds to the General Fund will not be in
violation of any Finance or Budget statutes, obligations or restrictions.
Section 4. Said $6,237.50 matching funds will be moved through a Budget Amendment to
the Annual Budget Ordinance
Section 5. Therefore, the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization STP -DPA
Bicycle /Pedestrian/Transit Project Ordinance Grant is hereby amended to move
the matching funds totaling $6,237.50 back to the General Fund, thus bringing the
Project Ordinance balance to zero and closing out the Project Ordinance.
