Harnett County Adopt -A -Trail Program (AAT10)
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County; North Carolina,
sitting as the governing board for Harnett County.
Section I: The County of Harnett desires to undertake a rail trail preservation project
on the Dunn Erwin Rail Trail. The project encompasses adding granite
fine to previously identified eroded areas of the trail starting around the
US421 overpass. The cost for the program will be funded by North
Carolina Department of Environmental and Natural Resources
(NCDENR). No match is required.
Section II: The following amounts are hereby appropriated for this project:
Rail Trail Restoration $ 5,000
Section III: It is estimated that the following revenues will be available for the
startup of this project:
