A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE HARNETT COUNTY TONING ORDINANCE TEXT
WHEREAS the Board of Oonmkdoners of Hamm County adopted a Zoning ONloance on July Ill,
1988 for she purpose of promoting she health, safely and gmand welfare of the manly resident; and
WHEREAS, this ordinance was adopted under ambority granted by the General Assembly of the Stare of
North Carolina, parlicnlarly G.S. IdTA, Ankle Ill, Fan y; and
WHEREAS, she Zoning ONlmoce contains provisions far amending said ordinance and dose pm islms
have been followed; and
WHEREAS, the Harem Coasty Planning Board has mimed Article XI, Sedian 1.1 of Ise Zoning
Ordinance and remmmmds the adoption of Ne following ammdmms.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF HARNETT
COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA that Article M. Sectian 1.1 of the Zoning Oadinmce be smarted by
deleting the existing paragraph and adding the fogowing: The Board of Adjustment is hereby treated
which shall consist of live (5) members and three (T) or more alternates who shall W be citizens of
Hameln County. North Cmalhm 71oae members shall be appointed by the Board of Comm,
Commissimen for staggered tree -year terms. Alternates shall also be appointed to three -year tem.
