' A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE HARNETT COUNTY MANUFACTURED HOME PARK
ORDINANCE TEXT
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Haman County adopted a Manufactured Home Park
Ordinance on September 7, 1990 for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, and general welfare of
the county residents; and ,
WHEREAS, this ordinance was adopted under authority granted by the General Assembly of the Stare of
North Carolina, particularly G.S. 153A -121, 122, and 123; and
WHEREAS, the Manufactured Home Park Ordinance contains provisions for amending said ordinance
and those provisions have been followed; and
WHEREAS, the Harnett County 'Planning Board has reviewed Article B, Section 2.2 of the
Manufactured Home Park OrdNaom. and recommends the adoption of the fonowiog ameadment.
NOW, THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF HARNETT
COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA that Article H. Section 2.2 of the Manufactured Home Park Ordinance
be amended by deleting subsection (f) of the definidon of a manufactured home that reads: and (0 is not
permartently attached to a foundation. A structure that is otherwise defined herein as a manufactured
home is permanently attached to its foundation if; (1) the foundation was constructed in such a way or at
such expense as to make it unlikely that the manufactured home placed upon it will later be removed; or
(2) if the mobile home cannot be removed from the foundation without great expense or severe damage
to the manufactured home.
