Based on my site visit regarding your request for a 16 x 36 pool these are my recommendations for you:
You have two options as listed below:
• Option 1- Follow your consultant's suggestion and cut drain lines so they are 15 feet from the
pool and add the amount of drain line lost to the end of the line as the consultant has shown.
The amount of line added to the end will be unknown until work begins and we know how much
line is lost to setbacks from the pool and how much is damaged digging the system up. You may
want to have your septic contractor give you a price on this.
Option 2 -Start at the septic tank and hard pipe (PVC pipe) down to the area below the pool
and 15 feet from the pool and install 240 feet of new drain lines. The new drain lines would be
installed as shown on your consultant's report.
I need the home owner to decide which option they want and to let me know so that I may issue a
permit to them. I may be reached between the hours of 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Monday through Friday at
