Minutes of Special Meeting
December 14, 2007
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Friday, December
14, 2008, in the Department on Aging Conference Room, 309 West Cornelius Harnett
Boulevard, Lillington, North Carolina.
Members present: Teddy J. Byrd, Chairman
Beatrice B. Hill, Vice Chairman
Gary House
Commissioner Dan B. Andrews and Tim McNeill were absent.
Staff present: Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board
Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m.
Mr. Wilder presented for the Board’s consideration a five year Harnett Regional Jetport
Transportation Improvement Plan for 2009-2013.
Vice Chairman Hill moved to approve the Plan as presented. Commissioner House
seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The TIP will be submitted to the North
Carolina Department of Transportation – Division of Aviation.
There being no further business, Chairman Byrd recessed the meeting to reconvene
Thursday, December 20 at 11:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Conference Room, County
Administration Building.
