The Harnett County Board of Equalization and Review met April 29,
1996, in the Tax Administrator's Office, Courthouse, Li1lington,
North Carolina.

Dale Harris, C.P.A. for Association
Vice Chairman Hill called the meeting to order at 9 a.m. to hear
the appeal for the following property:

Ken Joyner, Commercial Appraiser, Harnett County Tax Department,
presented the County's evaluation of the property and how the
assessed value of the property was calculated.
. James Lockamy, President of the shopping center association,
requested that the assessed value of the property be lowered.
After discussion, Commissioner Bowden made a motion to assess the
value of the property at $2,099,330. Commissioner Titchener
seconded the motion and it passed with a unanimous vote.
After further discussion, Commissioner Bowden moved to amend his
motion to include a correction of $81,910, which changes the
amount of the assessed value to $2,017,420.
There being no further business, Vice Chairman Hill adjourned the
meeting of the Board of Equalization and Review, ,April 29, 1996,
