Blanchard, Clerk to the Board Chairman Sorrell called the meeting to order at 9 a.m. and Commissioner Bowden led the pledge of allegiance and prayer. Commissioner Hill moved to approve the agenda as published with deletion of item regarding requests for tax penalty releases. Commissioner Andrews seconded the motion and it passed with a unanimous vote. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager, reported to. the LIZATION ENGINEER- Board that proposals had been received and evaluated regard1ng ING PROPOSALS - engineering services for the Harnett County FY 95-96 NCHFA CONTRACT WITH THE Single-Family Rehabilitation Program. The Wooten company WOOTEN COMPANY received the highest point ranking. Others providing proposals were Hobbs, Upchurch & Assoc., PA and Hayes, Seay, Mattern & Mattern, Inc. McDavid Associates, Inc. 's proposal was received after the deadline and was ineligible for consideration. Commissioner Hill moved to authorize the County Manager to enter into a contract with The Wooten Company for engineering services. Commissioner Titchener seconded the motion and it passed with a unanimous vote. . WESTERN HARENTT Neil Emory, County Manager, presented a proposal for recreation REC. FUNDING funding regarding Western Harnett Recreation. Commissioner PROPOSAL Andrews moved to authorize the County Manager to draft a proposed contract to be considered by the Board and Western Harnett Recreation. In the County Manager's report, Mr. Emory reported that Harnett 911 COORDINATOR County's first 911 Coordinator, Clint Williams, begins work with CLINT WILLIAMS the County today. Reports were filed with the Board by Emergency Medical Service and Economic Development. There being no further business, Commissioner Bowden moved for ADJOURNMENT adjournment.
