HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS' RECONVENED MEETING, JUNE 20, 1995
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in a reconvened session
on Tuesday, June 20, 1995, at the Harnett County Library, Lillington,
North Carolina. The regular Board meeting on June 19 was recessed
until this time.
Members present: H. L. Sorrell, Jr. , Chairman
Beatrice Bailey Hill, Vice Chairman .
Dan B. Andrews
Joseph T. Bowden
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Vanessa W. Young, Finance Officer
Kay S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary
Commissioner Walt Titchener was absent.
Chairman Sorrell reconvened the meeting at 1 p.m.
George Jackson, Planning Director and Tom Taylor, Chief Planner,
reviewed with the Board, proposed amendments to the Harnett County
Zoning Ordinance.
After discussion of the proposed changes to the Zoning Ordinance,
Commissioner Bowden made a motion to schedule a public hearing on the
proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance at the regular Board of
Commissioners Meeting on August 21, 1995. Commissioner Andrews
seconded the motion and it passed with a unanimous vote.
Reports were filed with the Board from Department of Social Services,
NC Forest Service Annual Report, Report of General Fund Revenues,
Environmental Health, and the Sheriff's Department.
There being no further business, the Harnett County Board of
Commissioners' reconvened meeting, June 20, 1995, duly adjourned at
2:40 p.m.
