HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS' RECONVENED MEETING, JUNE 6, 1995
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in a reconvened meeting .
on June 6, 1995 in the Commissioners Meeting Room, county Office
Building, Lillington, North Carolina. The regular Board Meeting on
June 5, 1995 was recessed until this time.
Members present: H. L. Sorrell, Jr. , Chairman
Beatrice Bailey Hill, Vice Chairman
Dan B. Andrews
Joseph T. Bowden
Walt Titchener
Staff present: Ne 11 Emory, County Manager
Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Vanessa W. Young, Finance Officer
Kay S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary
Chairman Sorrell reconvened the meeting at 7 p.m. and recognized Neil
Emory, Budget Officer. Mr. Emory stated that the purpose of the
meeting was to review and discuss budget items.
Budget items were discussed in a work session format.
Dan Boone, The Wooten Company, presented bids on the Water Plant
Expansion Project. Commissioner Bowden moved to award the general
contract to T.A. Loving in the amount of $8,421,986 and electrical
contract to Tom O'Quinn in the amount of $737,207 contingent upon
approval of final plans by the Department of Environmental Management.
Commissioner Andrews seconded the motion and it passed with a
unanimous vote.
There being no further business, the reconvened meeting, June 6, 1995 .
