HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF CO~!ISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING, DEC~1BER 16, 1994
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on
Friday, December 16, 1994, at Waverly's Restaurant, Lillington, North I
Carolina.
Members present: H. L. Sorrell, Jr.
Beatrice Bailey Hill
Dan B. Andrews
Joseph T. Bowden
Walt Titchener
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Vanessa W. Young, Finance Officer
Kay S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary
Invited guests present: Representative Elect Willis Brown
Representative Elect Don Davis
Senator Elect Dan Page was unable to attend.
Chairman Sorrell called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m., welcomed
the guests and made introductions. Commissioner Andrews offered the
invocation.
REVIEW OF LEGISLATIVE After a breakfast meal, Neil Emory, County Manager led the group in a
GOALS review and discussion of a list of statewide Legislative Goals which
have been approved by the Board of Directors of the North Carolina
Association of County Commissioners. The group also discussed local
goals.
FINAL SUBDIVISION In other business, Commissioner Bowden moved to approve the following
PLATS final subdivision plats. Commissioner Andrews seconded the motion and I
it passed with a unanimous vote.
1. Cypress Creek Farms, Barbecue Township, owner and developer -

ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, the Harnett County Board of
Commissioners special meeting, December 16, 1994, duly adjourned at
10:00 a.m.
