The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on
Thursday, May 5, 1994, in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County
Office Building, Lillington, North Carolina.

Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager

Commissioner Walt Titchener was absent.
BUDGET WORK SESSION Chairman Sorrell called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. and recognized
Neil Emory, Budget Officer. Mr. Emory stated that the purpose of the
special meeting was to review proposed budget items for the F.Y. 94-95
Harnett County Budget.
Budget items were reviewed in a work session format.
There being no further business, the special meeting, May 5, 1994,

The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on
May 9, 1994. The meeting was a joint budget working session with the
JOINT BUDGET WORK Board of Education and was held at the School Annex in Lillington,

Chairman Sorrell called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.
Bob Beasley, Superintendent, Harnett County Schools, stated that the
I purpose of the special joint meeting was for the presentation of
Harnett County Schools' F.Y. 94-95 proposed budget and review of line
items in the budget.
Items were reviewed in a work session format.
There being no further business, Commissioner Bowden moved to adjourn
the special meeting of May 9, 1994. Commissioner Titchener seconded
the motion and it passed with a unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned
at 8:30 p.m.
