The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on I
Thursday, May 6, 1993, in the Conference Room at Central Carolina
Community COllege-Harnett County Campus, Lillington, North Carolina.
Members present: H. L. Sorrell, Jr., Chairman
Beatrice Bailey Hill, Vice-Chairman
Dan B. Andrews
Joseph T. Bowden
Walt Titchener
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Tony Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Vanessa W. Young, Finance Officer & Clerk to the Board
Kay S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary
Chairman Sorrell called the meeting to order at 8 p.m. and recognized
Neil Emory, County Manager. Mr. Emory stated that the purpose of the
special meeting was to review proposed budget items for the F.Y. 93-94
Harnett County Budget.
Ite~s were reviewed in a work session format.
There being no further business, the special meeting, May 6, 1993,
duly adjourned at 10:30 p.m.

(Board of Education Budget Presentation)
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on
Monday, May 10, 1993. The meeting was a joint budget working session
with the Board of Education and was held at the School Annex in
Lillington, North Carolina.

Chairman Sorrell called the ~ meeting to order at 7:15 p.m.
Ivo Wortman, Superintendent, Harnett County Schools, stated that the I
purpose of the special joint meeting was for the presentation of
Harnett County Schools' F.Y. 93-94 budget and review of line items in
the budget.
Items were reviewed in a work session format.
There being no further business, the special meeting May 10, 1993,
duly adjourned at 10 p.m.
