HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING, MAY 11, 1992
Joint meeting with the Board of Education
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on I
Monday, May 11, 1992, at the Harnett County Schools Annex building,
11th Street, Lillington, North Carolina, with the following members
present: Mack Reid Hudson, Walt Titchener, Beatrice Bailey Hill, and
Chairman Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Commissioner Bill Shaw was
absent. Others present were Dallas H. Pope, County Manager; Tony
Wilder, Assistant County Manager; and Vanessa W. Young, Finance
Officer. The special session was a joint meeting with the Board of
Education members and staff.
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m., and Dallas H. Pope,
County Manager, was recognized and stated that the purpose of the
meeting was to review draft budget items for the F.Y. 92-93 budget.
Items were reviewed in a work session format.
There being no further business, the Harnett Board of Commissioners
meeting in joint session with the Board of Education, duly adjourned
at 9:40 p.m.

Joint meeting with municip~lities
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on
Tue~day, ~aY,12, 1~92~ in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County
Offlce BUlldlng, Lll11ngton, North Carolina, with the following
members present: Beatrice Bailey Hill, Mack Reid Hudson Walt
Titchener, and Chairman Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Co~issioner Bill
Shaw w~s absent. Others present were Dallas H. Pope, County Manager;
Ton~ Wllder, Assistant County Manager; and Vanessa W. Young, Finance
Offlcer. The special session was a joint meeting with the
municipalities of Angier, Coats, Dunn, Erwin, and Lillington.
Chairman Stewart called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.
Dallas H. Pope, County Manager, presented a briefing concerning the
overall County Solid Waste operation and concluded with a presentation
of proposed overall operation for F.Y. 92-93.
There being no further business, the Harnett County Board of
Commissioners' special meeting, May 12, 1992, duly adjourned at
2:45 p.m.
