I've attached some preliminary renderings for the signs they've asked us to install, but I was wondering if you could give me a bit of information regarding permitting. I am assuming permits will be required for all (4) cloud signs being mounted to the building (two Dunkin Donuts signs, one Baskin Robbins sign, and one Drive Thru sign). Is this correct? All of these wall signs will be subject to plan review. However you will pay only one $50.00 sign permit fee for these on the building. They have a menu board, a drive through canopy, and (4) directional signs (see attached) they they want to install as well. Do we need to get permits for all of those? And do we need sealed engineered drawings/footing calculations on those, since they will be going in the ground? Let me check on which one of these will get actual permits. You would have a $50.00 planning permit on these as well, but only one fee as with the signs going on the building. ** additional info** - No engineered plans are needed and you will need to pull permits for these signs also. So you would have (2) $50 land use permit fees. One for the building signs and one for the ground signs. Then you would have a building permit fee based on job cost of ground signs and an electrical permit based on job cost of ground signs. I have attached a commercial land use application that will need to be completed for each set of signs. You can then forward it back to me if you would like. I believe I have covered everything, if not please let me know. If you could let me know that would be great! And any costs associated with these would be appreciated! Thanks so much for your help!
